Real Estate Lead Generation using Mobile Marketing
Mobile marketing is one of the new "catch phrases" in many lead generation circles. Because it is in it's infancy, it is still somewhat hard to define. However, it can currently be broken down into three basic types:
Call Capture with Text Messaging- Is the "grandfather" of mobile marketing and still the most effective. It utilizes toll-free numbers, allowing the consumer to access information on properties instantly through a voice recording.
After hearing a brief description of the homes features most call capture systems allow the consumer to transfer directly to the agent, leave a voice message, and more advanced systems will fulfill additional details via text message or SMS, including photos of the property. Please visit our

Inbound Text/SMS- While the text generation has exploded in the past couple of years, it has primarily only been used for social communication. However, as the service has become more mainstream recently, more and more mobile subscribers are beginning to prefer to receive product announcements and updates using through text.

Real Estate Text Messaging Services are very similar to call capture, allowing the consumer 24/7 information instantly on their cell phone including bedroom/bath, price, square footage, and interior pictures. Similar to call capture, agents are immediately notified of system access so they can follow-up with the lead immediately to answer additional questions or schedule appointments to view the property.
GPS/Location Based Mobile Search- Major real estate websites have harnessed the power of today's Smartphones to create a new type of home search. Using devices like Blackberrys and Iphones capability to pinpoint your location via global positioning, data can be delivered instantly about the property people are viewing. The current leaders are companies like Trulia and Zillow, continuing to expand on the way they deliver new information on homes for sale.
However, this technology still struggles since current estimates say only 28% of consumers carry smartphones, leaving you out on the cold to the majority of the current market. The other drawback is the lack of lead capture features provided by these products. While amazing technology, it is still ivery new and you should definitely keep these services on your radar.
